Here is a poster project I created in Photoshop for the same class. It was my 2nd attempt after trying it with another photo and I thought it came out better so I submitted this one...

Cereal Man !!!???
This was a quick excercise that I had to do for a Photoshop class I had a few years ago. I thought it was funny at the time....
More FB Friends
Here is my second attempt at drawing one of my Facebook friends in pencil and then digitally painting it in Photoshop. Comments are welcome.

Drawing Facebook Friends and Family
I decided to start drawing my friends and family from Facebook to get better at drawing portraits and caricatures. Here is my first drawing done first with pencil and then digitally painted and framed in Photoshop.

Little Barf
Here is a pic of my son as the character "Barf" from the movie SpaceBalls... Why I chose to use this character for my son is beyond me..lol. I think I had just bought the movie on dvd and thought it would be funny. Comments are welcomed.

"Avatarred"
Okay. I finally finished my Avatar pic of myself and think that it came out pretty decent. This was an awesome movie and I could not resist being "Avatarred".... I just made that up...lol. Photoshop of course was used for my pic. The background pic was borrowed from the internet just to give it a better feel to complete the scene and is copyright its respective owner. Yeah, I have to say that so no one can say I am taking credit for the part that I did not make. Let me know what you think if you care to critique. Thanks for looking.

Baker Smurf
Okay. Here is a digital painting of Baker smurf that I recently did using my new Wacom drawing tablet. I used Photoshop of course and the reference was actually a toy I picked up from a Happy Meal. I think it came out okay but I know I need a lot more practice still. I will try to post more digital paintings along with my other art. Thanks for looking!

OH YEAHHHH!!!
These were also done for an image editing class that I took. Photoshop was used and I recreated Kool-Aid Man using pics of a glass pitcher. The assignment was basically to take an existing product and create a billboard and magazine ad. You can't go wrong with KOOL-AID!!!!

Web Page Project
Here is a project for my Image Editing class that I had a lot of fun with. The purpose was to create a mock home page for a movie of our choosing. At the time, Monsters vs. Aliens had just came out and I was looking forward to seeing it. The background image that I used was actually a photo taken in downtown Dallas, TX which is close to where I currently live. The character pics were borrowed from existing ads for the movie and rearranged in Photoshop. All of the text and web buttons were created in Photoshop, including the movie title and logos. Copyrights for the characters and the background photo are owned by their respective creators and were used for educational purposes only. Thanks for viewing and feel free to leave comments.

"Butterflies"
Here is a piece I also did in school for image editing, which is basically a Photoshop class that shows you how to take a regular photo and create a piece of art out of it. This was a fairly easy project and I enjoyed it very much. A lot of my work as you will see is photo manipulation, but I will try to show other types of work on here as well. Thanks for viewing and please feel free to leave comments.

Can I Believe?
Here is a piece I completed as an assignment for an Intro to Graphic Design class. Using text from a song to create a picture was the requirement. The phrase I used was "can I believe you hold an exclamation point for every question mark?" which was from the song "Naive" by Chris Rice.

Making Choices
Here is a piece that I created while attending Westwood College for one of my classes. We had to come up with a theme and illustrate it. My theme was "making choices" and I chose to use Albert Einstein as part of my illustration. I used Photoshop for this one and think it came out well. I narrowed it down to good vs. bad choices which is the reason for the double sided arrow on the road and why I chose to use the good conscience vs bad conscience characters.

Young Yoda???
Ok... So this is my first post on my blog and hopefully I will be posting at least 2 or 3 times a week with something new. I am okay with constructive feedback, but I will ban anyone that just wants to be a jerk.
This was done in Photoshop originally as an avatar for Myspace or Facebook and took me a few hours but was not that difficult. I had a lot of fun changing myself into whatever alien race that Yoda comes from. It just kind of makes you think... Were there others like Yoda, and if so what did they look like? I love all the Star Wars movies, but am not too sure of where Yoda originated.
